UK–Netherlands Quantum Tech Co-Innovation Pilot Now Open

Innovate UK and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) have launched a joint funding opportunity to support collaborative R&D projects in quantum technologies. The programme is designed to encourage UK and Dutch organisations to co-develop and test solutions that bring second-generation quantum technologies closer to market.

🔹 Funding available: UK applicants can request £150,000–£300,000
🔹 Partnership required: Projects must involve at least one UK and one Netherlands-based business
🔹 Collaboration with testbeds: Teams must work with a recognised quantum testbed provider in either country
🔹 Project focus areas include:
• Quantum networking (hardware/software, entanglement)
• Quantum computing applications and services
• Quantum sensing for commercial use (e.g. health, infrastructure, navigation)

📆 Project start date: Expected from February 2026
💡 Project duration: 18–24 months
